Fruity Turkey Kebabs
Essential Ingredient:
Turkey Breast Fillets
Ingredients
For the marinade:

1 crushed garlic clove

Grated zest of ½ lemon

2 tbsp fat free French dressing

1 level tsp mixed dried herbs

Lemon juice

For the kebabs:

460g cubed turkey breast

8 button mushrooms

1 courgette

1 red or orange pepper

60g fresh pineapple



To serve:
Tomatoes, onions and a green salad.
This recipe from Slimming World. is ½ Syn on Extra Easy and Original and 6½ Syns on Green.
Method
  1. Mix all the marinade ingredients together in a bowl
  2. Put the turkey and mushrooms in a dish and spoon over the marinade
  3. Leave to chill in the refrigerator for 1 hour
  4. Thread the marinated turkey and mushrooms, courgette, pepper and pineapple alternately on to 4 kebab skewers
  5. Brush with the marinade and place under a preheated hot grill or over hot coals on a barbecue
  6. Grill the kebabs, brushing with the remaining marinade and turning regularly, for 10–12 minutes, or until the turkey is cooked and the vegetables are slightly charred
  7. Serve hot with tomatoes, onions and a green salad.
